Things are coming together. I have received approval for a six month leave of absence from my company, I have lined up a few options for getting from San Diego to the trail, and I'm basically all set for gear.

I'm still working on this website, I still need to make a bivy, and I'm still breaking in my shoes. :)

Here's a picture of me at the start of the trail in Campo, CA, standing next to the border fence. It was around 40°F when Andrea and I visited it in February as tourists.
